Installing the trial version

To install CyberSky on your computer, download the setup program, double-click the file to start the installation, and then follow the instructions that appear.

During installation, the setup program copies CyberSky to a folder on your hard disk and adds CyberSky to the Start menu.

After you use the setup program to install CyberSky, you don’t need it any more and can go ahead and delete it.

Note  The setup program installs the latest version of CyberSky in a different folder than previous versions of the program. You can have CyberSky 5 and CyberSky 1, 2, 3, or 4 installed on the same computer, and can use both versions at the same time; the two programs won’t affect each other at all.

Uninstalling the trial version

CyberSky includes an uninstall program that allows you to easily remove the software from your computer if you don’t like it or it doesn’t meet your needs.

To uninstall CyberSky in Windows XP

On the Start menu, click Control Panel, and then click Add or Remove Programs. In the list of installed programs, click CyberSky 5, and then click Change/Remove.

To uninstall CyberSky in Windows Vista and Windows 7

On the Start menu, click Control Panel, and then click Uninstall a program. In the list of installed programs, click CyberSky 5, and then click Uninstall/Change.

Note  Uninstalling CyberSky removes only those files that were originally installed on your computer when you installed the program. If you’ve saved any maps as CyberSky Map files or as image files, you must remove these files yourself.
